Driven the shounen spirit, ‘Ahiru no Sora’ is yet another anime that revolves around the sport of basketball. After Ryuuhei and Masahiro leave the team, Sora decides to bring them back somehow. He first directly approaches them and tries to convince them by claiming that all of their grueling training sessions will eventually pay off. But despite his efforts, the boys stick to their decision and choose to stay out of it. Ryuuhei and Masahiro later run into the same group of middle-schoolers who had defeated them earlier. More determined than ever to teach them a lesson, they challenge the middle school boys again and a match ensues between the two teams. However, Ryuuhei and Masahiro still struggle to win against them and that’s when Sora comes out of nowhere. He takes a pass from Masahiro and scores a winning basket for them. After Sora proves that he always has their back, both decide to come back to the team.
