Born into a family of actors, Alec Baldwin started his career in 1980 with the soap titled ‘The Doctors.’ He got a recurring role in another soap, ‘Knot’s Landing’, which ran from 1984 to 1985. Alec Baldwin teams up with Bruce Willis in the upcoming movie ‘Motherless Brooklyn,’, written and directed by Edward Norton. Based on the novel of the same name by Jonathan Lethem, the plot follows the private detective Lionel Essrog (Norton), who has Tourette’s Syndrome. But when his mentor Frank Minna (Bruce Willis) is brutally murdered, Essrog embarks on a dangerous journey risking his health condition to find the truth behind the tragic death, reports Variety. The other cast includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Cherry Jones, Ethan Suplee, Leslie Mann, Josh Pais, Fisher Stevens, Michael K. Williams, Robert Wisdom, and Willem Dafoe. ‘Motherless Brooklyn’ is set to release on November 1, 2019.
7. Arctic Justice (2019)
‘Arctic Justice‘ is an upcoming movie that features an ensemble voice cast including Alec Baldwin, Angelica Huston and Jeremy Renner. The plot centers on the adventures of Swifty (Renner), a cunning arctic fox who accidentally comes across a deadly scheme to destroy the world by melting the enormous snow mountains in the Arctic region. Swifty decides to save the world at the cost of his life and teams up with his best friends to help him in the mission. Alec Baldwin lends his voice to PB, a shy polar bear who comes forward to join hands with Swifty in his dangerous mission. 6. Lamborghini: The Legend (2020)
‘Lamborghini: The Legend’ is a long-awaited biopic of auto mogul Ferruccio Lamborghini. Antonio Banderas is set to play the iconic role of the automotive legend while Alec Baldwin portrays his arch-rival, Enzo Ferrari. The movie is directed by Michael Radford (‘The Postman’) from a script by Bobby Moresco (‘Million Dollar Baby‘). The plot revolves around the meteoric growth of Lamborghini from a modest start as a tractor manufacturer to one of the world’s best high-end sports cars. After a fierce battle for dominance in the automobile industry, Lamborghini sold out his fortune and died in 1993.
5. Blue Before Blood (TBA)
‘Blue Before Blood’ is an upcoming cop thriller written and directed by Wayne Kramer, who is known for ‘Crossing Over’ and ‘Pawn Shop Chronicles.’ There are unconfirmed reports that Alec Baldwin will play the role of a sadistic cop in the movie, which centers on the internal power plays of NYPD. More details about the project, which is currently in post-production, haven’t been revealed yet.

4. A Few Good Men (TBA)
‘A Few Good Men‘ is a televised play for NBC which is based on a live staging of Aaron Sorkin’s ‘A Few Good Men.’ Baldwin plays the character of Col. Nathan Jessep in the production. One of the most popular plays of Sorkin, ‘A Few Good Men’ is set in Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Naval Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. According to THR, the plot follows the idealistic military lawyer Lt. Daniel Kaffee, who locks horns with the mighty Col. Nathan Jessep while defending three Marines on a trial. Jack Nicholson made Col. Jessep immortal in the 1992 movie adaptation of the play. ‘A Few Good Men’ is directed by Scott Ellis and Alex Rudzinski.

3. The Boss Baby 2 (2021)
‘The Boss Baby 2’ is an upcoming sequel to the 2017 animated comedy ‘The Boss Baby,’ which was based on the 2010 picture book of the same name created by Marla Frazee. Alec Baldwin reprises his iconic character of Theodore Lindsey Templeton a.k.a Boss Baby while James McGrath lends his voice to the character of Wizzie. The sequel reportedly brings back the major cast members and creative team. Alec Baldwin serves as executive producer in the upcoming feature adaptation of the award-winning short film ‘Krista.’ The big screen adaptation is written and directed by Danny Madden. Set in a sleepy town, the plot follows three teenagers who navigate through the painful and haunting insecurities of adolescence. ‘Krista’ has won the first annual Vimeo Staff Pick Award at SXSW. Baldwin executive produces the project along with Casey Bader on behalf of their home banner El Dorado Pictures.

1. Untitled Kenya Barris/Julie Bean Project (TBA)
Alec Baldwin teams up with Kenya Barris (‘Black-ish‘) and Julie Bean (‘Grown-ish‘) to produce the multi-camera comedy pilot for ABC. Written by Barris and Bean, who also serve as showrunners, the untitled pilot is reportedly based on a dysfunctional family of a washed out TV star, his daughter, her girlfriend, and an adopted kid. Regina Hall and Whitney Cummings’ names were previously attached to the project along with Baldwin to play the lead roles. But the three actors are not associated with the project as cast members.
