All American Season 3 Episode 17 Recap
In the 17th episode of ‘All American’ season 3, titled ‘All American: Homecoming,’ Simone, Jordan, Spencer and Olivia take a trip to Atlanta to tend to a personal matter at Bringston University. Simone’s Aunt Amara is a journalism professor at the school. Upon making her acquaintance, she introduces Simone and the group to their tour guide, a student named Keisha. She takes them along to a dance where Simone is wrongfully accused of taping a guy. He is further infuriated when she fails to recognize him. It turns out that he is a famous baseball player named Damon.
An emergency call by Keisha reveals that she needs more participants for her dance fashion show and as if by fate, Olivia and Simone fill in for the ones who backed out. It seems as if Damon is falling for Simone, but his attention thereby shifts to the unwanted publicity that he is receiving because someone posted pictures of him touring the college all over the internet. Olivia, on the other hand, seems bitter about Keisha’s growing fondness for Spencer. However, Spencer asks Olivia for a dance and ends up kissing her. Elsewhere, Amara exposes the head coach of the college baseball team, who had been involved in illegal matters.
Soon, Damon learns that the entire baseball staff is being kicked out because of that. During an unexpected encounter with Spencer, Damon reveals that he was adopted, and the reason he wants to attend Bringston is because of his birth parents who studied here. But his adoptive mother wants him to go to the MLB. Spencer advises him to stick to his own dreams. Later at a press conference, he announces that he does not want to attend MLB and promotes the assistant coach as the head of the baseball team. Simone is relieved to be in Atlanta, but Simone is in deep distress.
