Alone Season 8 Episode 4 Recap

The fourth episode titled ‘Far From Home’ marks the second tap-out this season. The contestant in question surprisingly happens to be Jordan, who had assembled one of the most inventive and durable shelters this season. But his unstoppable desire to keep on crafting and building stemmed from an underlying need to keep himself busy. If he rested even for a second, memories of his daughter, who had passed away prematurely before turning four, haunted him.

At one point, he realized that he couldn’t carry the burden of his unresolved emotional baggage anymore, coaxing him to tap out. Elsewhere, Teresa seemed all tucked in beneath her pit shelter laden with a uniform arrangement of wood and pine. Her little cave looked strong and warm against the dangerous winter. As observed, raising a shelter doesn’t seem as taxing as arranging food.

Without adequate protein intake, the survivors were struggling, especially Nate, who wanted to extend his reach to other parts of the lake. So he created a pier and moved around until he finally caught one. Coulter also ventured out on his boat and managed to find a fish he could have for dinner. Later, he dove into the lake for a swim and spotted a bear staring at him from the other side. He shooed it away using three bear bangers and subsequently resigned into his new rock shelter. Rose, on the other hand, munched on seaweed.
