Alone Season 8 Episode 7 Recap

The seventh episode of ‘Alone’ season 8 is titled ‘Surrounded.’ There are five survivalists remaining in the heart of the wilderness, and the circumstances are only getting tougher, especially for Theresa and Rose. In freezing cold temperature, Theresa ventured out into the lake with one motive in mind: secure as much food as her body could accommodate! But she got stuck in the water after her safety kit malfunctioned, and it took her 35 minutes to reach ashore.

The next contestant, Rose, found empty bottles that she used as cooking vessels to brew herself some tea. But it wasn’t enough to remedy the level of discomfort that almost coaxed her into tapping out. Moreover, her cam recorder captured a bear approaching her makeshift house that was petrifying to watch. Later, she finally caught a rabbit and cooked perhaps the fanciest meal we have seen in the current season.

On the other hand, Colter gathered 30 pounds of mushrooms and renovated his shelter to survive the winter. He is the second one apart from Clay, who doesn’t have to worry about food for now. He has 50 pounds of deer meat stored. Lastly, we saw Biko construct a drawbridge door on his shelter and a fireplace alongside. He almost tripped on a slippery patch of land and realized that it’s actually clay, a valuable resource if you’re trapped in the wild!
