American Horror Stories Season 1 Episode 4 Spoilers
By the title of episode 4, ‘The Naughty List,’ we can glean that it will likely be about Christmas and Santa Clause. In a typical Murphy-Falchuk fashion, the episode will likely subvert all the traditional tropes that the audience associates with Christmas films or shows. Portrayed by Danny Trejo, the Santa Clause of ‘American Horror Stories’ might be a vengeful entity targeting a group of young social media influencers because of the disturbing content they post online.
The show might depict Trejo’s rendition of Santa as a version of Krampus, the apparently evil horned being from Alpine folklore that accompanies Saint Nicholas as the latter goes around on December 5, distributing sweets and snacks among the children who have been good. Krampus’ job is to punish the naughty ones with birch rods. In episode 4, the influencers might draw Santa’s attention after their content have a negative impact on their audience.
American Horror Stories Season 1 Episode 3 Recap
Episode 3 tells the story of an apparently cursed film, ‘Rabbit Rabbit.’ After watching it during its first screening in 1986, the audience turned violent, and 6 people were killed. In the present day, young couple Chad and Kelley attend the screening of ‘Rabbit Rabbit’ in a drive-in theatre. Fortunately, they were busy celebrating their 6-month anniversary and not looking at the screen when the film turns its audience into mindless killers. Chad and Kelley’s friends are not as lucky as them and are killed.
The two of them track down the director of the film, Larry Bitterman, knowing that another screening is supposed to happen soon. They destroy what is supposed to be the original print of the movie and ensure that the director perishes with his creation. However, as the episode’s ending reveals, Bitterman sold ‘Rabbit Rabbit’s distribution rights to Netflix. The film premieres on the streaming site and the hellish nightmare that Chad and Kelley experienced spreads across the world.
