Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 3 Spoilers

It seems as though episode 3 is going to be all about Reiner. Since the war with the Mid-East Allied Forces has finally come to an end, the character is going to reunite with his mother. From what we have been able to gather, it looks as if he will reminisce about his childhood and the time he wanted to inherit the Titan so that he could get the honorary Marleyan title. Apart from this, we can also expect to see Zeke’s plan taking shape at the carnival. The Tybur family will, in all probability, make the announcement as well.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 2 Recap

The Marleyan forces prevailed victorious in the four-year war. Nonetheless, the anti-Titan technology of the Mid-East Allied Forces is being raved about everywhere. In fact, it becomes clear to the Marleyan generals that they can no longer solely rely on the powers of the Titans. After all, everyone is working on weapons that can diminish the creatures, and so the Marleyans will not have the same leverage on the battlefield anymore. Zeke comes up with a plan which involves attacking Paradis Island and retaking the Founding Titan. This will give the Marleyan forces enough time to make technological advancements of their own as well.

Those Eldian soldiers who survived the war are headed back to Liberio on a train. Gabi is proclaimed a hero by everyone for her courage on the battlefield. Reiner even tells Falco that she could become the next Armored Titan. However, Falco doesn’t want this to happen as she would only live till 27. Even Reiner compels Falco to work hard and inherit the title for himself so that he can save Gabi from the dark future that awaits them.

In Liberio, everyone reunites with their family, but there is a group of soldiers who are so affected by what they’ve seen that they’ve developed PTSD. Moreover, Falco wonders if he can trust Reiner completely. At dinner, Gabi tells her family about her heroic exploits on the battlefield, and her cousin, Reiner, recalls his time on Paradis Island.

Later, Zeke and the Titan Warriors meet in the war chief’s room to discuss their new strategy. Zeke wants to use the Tybur family and their War Hammer Titan (who has never been seen before) to announce that they will be taking over the island within the year. Furthermore, the military seniors have been eavesdropping on this conversation from another room. Reiner wonders if he will have to go back to that island soon.
