Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 Episode 2 Recap

The second episode of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ season 6 is titled ‘ It’s Not Easy Being Green.’ In this episode, Lloyd Spencer seemed like the protagonist, narrating his life story to the viewers. As outlined by Bravo, Lloyd is “a joy to be around and a hard worker who is determined to prove his skills both on deck and in engineering.” Episode 2 delves deeper into his history and professional record. It all started as Bosun Malia White went to examine Lloyd during anchor watch.

Lloyd sat down for an interview highlighting the pivotal moments in his career except for his time on Lady Michelle, the 180-foot super-yacht led by Captain Sandy. He explained that he has always been a people person, landing him jobs in different departments. He particularly seemed to loathe his time selling cars as he had been bullied by his coworkers back then. Lloyd also added that on his first day in the office, they made him “stand on a table on the phone calling people, while people threw things at me to make me smile while speaking on the phone.”

Apart from that, Lloyd has been a bus driver in Europe, driving tourists around the continent. That phase of his life clearly involved lots of traveling, which finally led him to a respectable career in super yachting. He has previously been at anchor on smaller boats where he would sail in the winter months and hand deliveries in the Irish sea. The first two episodes mainly focused on the cast members, especially Lloyd and his friends on the deck team.
