Below Deck Mediterranean Season 6 Episode 6 Recap
In the sixth episode titled ‘The Morning After,’ David tried to stop Lexi from channeling her anger on everyone she set her eyes on. Malia White broke down after a while, and Lexi further dared Katie Flood to fire her. Katie sent Malia to a guest cabin to let her recuperate from the emotional turmoil she just went through. The following morning, Lexi entered without the slightest hint of recollection about the ruckus she caused.
Katie informed Captain Sandy about Mathew walking off the boat and the circumstances that caused it. Lexi was, of course, then asked to listen to what the rest of the crew has to say about her so that she could own up to her mistakes. As expected, she refused to be held accountable, and Sandy just let the matter slide asking everyone to give her another chance. At that very moment, Mathew walked in asking for his job back, but Sandy put him in the lurch, saying that there is another chef waiting to be hired.
After he was done cooking for the current quarter, Mathew was free to pack his bags and leave. Lexi tried to apologize to Malia for her behavior, but she was reluctant even to utter the word “sorry.” Katie’s interference only caused Lexi to declare that she is quitting. However, taking Sandy’s advice, Katie attempted to make peace with Lexi, and the matter ultimately got resolved.
To further make things harder for Mathew, the guests of the final charter presented a vague list of demands about the calamari being prepared for dinner. At the dinner table, the primary guest asked for the food to be served even before the remaining two guests could arrive, which sent the crew into a state of panic. Four minutes later, she stepped into the galley, asking why the food is still not ready.
