You head into the aptly named town of Rainbow Bay to start your new life of love and happiness. Of course, the first step in doing that is adopting one of four adorable little puppies at the very start and filling out a dating profile. After that, you are free to explore the town, meet new people and possibly even become romantically involved with someone really special. Obviously, dogs being a central theme in ‘Best Friend Forever’, all the dateable single people you meet around town will also have their very own furry best friends for you to pet.

You can eventually adopt even more dogs of a variety of different breeds, train them to enhance their skills and eventually graduate from the prestigious Paws Academy. Your fog will be a vital part of the storyline and gameplay in “Best Friend Forever’, following you everywhere you go and interacting with the story just as much as you.

Of course, ‘Best Friend Forever’ is as much about finding true love as it is about finding true friendship. The game will feature a large and extremely diverse cast of Non Player Characters (NPCs) for the player to befriend and date, each with their own pet dog. ‘Best Friend Forever’ was crafted a group of diverse people with ties to the LGBTQ+ community, and they wanted their game to reflect that as well.
