Better Call Saul Season 5 Episode 5 Spoilers:

From what we understand, the upcoming episode will deal with two storylines that have been set up. We know that Gus has set something in play since he gives the DEA the runaround. However, the real mystery is what has happened to Mike.

He looks for trouble with thugs again. However, this time they get the better of him and Mike gets stuck with a pocketknife. Ultimately, he wakes up in an unfamiliar place, so it remains to be seen who has kept Mike out of the hospital, and what they want to do with him.

More importantly, we realize that Mesa Verde’s head gets the sense that Saul and Kim are scamming him when it comes to the unreluctant tenant. However, Saul is not one to pull punches, and Kim seems to be on board too, making surprising decisions, to protect Saul’s client’s interests.

Hopefully, we will get to see more of the Lalo and Gus rivalry in Episode 5. After all, the new Salamanca member has shown himself to be wily and ruthless, making him a worthy adversary. One thing is for certain, with Hank and Gomez sniffing around, Season 5 is bound to be extremely exciting at all times.
