Better Call Saul Season 5 Episode 6 Spoilers:
Get ready to pull up your bootstraps, and prepare your opening arguments, because the upcoming episode will see Kim Wexler going up against Saul Goodman. We have known that this has been coming for a while, the undeniable tipping point from which Kim and Jimmy’s relationship possibly cannot recover.
It seems that the Mesa Verde case will succeed in doing what many of Jimmy’s transgressions and foibles have been unable to. Naturally, the face-off between Kim and Saul is bound to be exciting, since they both know how the other operates. While Kim is formidable in the courtroom, Saul can bend the law like nobody else. The trailer shows Saul teaming up with his production team. Thus, we expect some showmanship to help the case.
Conflicts seem to be the theme of the upcoming episode, as Mike is enlisted by Gus to cause trouble for the Salamancas. He manages to irk Lalo, which does not seem like a smart move. Lalo is both ruthless and cunning, but it will perhaps only be a matter of time before Gus has him removed. Meanwhile, Nacho seems to be in a tough place, caught between Lalo and Gus, both of whom are shrewd and unforgiving.
With so many pieces being moved about in the upcoming episode, it promises to be full of action, excitement, and the kind of fantastic nail-biting storytelling we’ve come to expect from ‘Better Call Saul’.
