Better Call Saul Season 5 Episode 8 Spoilers:

The upcoming episode, titled ‘Bagman’, possibly refers to the new responsibilities bestowed on Jimmy or Saul, by Lalo. It is evident that he’s going to be more involved in the cartel business. Meanwhile, Kim does not seem to be all too happy with the fact that Saul’s managed to secure bail for Lalo.

She feels that this might make him a ‘friend of the cartel’, and Kim is right to fear that. Ultimately, Jimmy has a propensity for getting into trouble, all by himself. To be associated with the cartel is a recipe for calamity. We get a sense of this, as we are teased a look into the cartel’s machinations.

With a bloodied car seat being taken apart, and license plates being changed, Saul might have bitten off more than he can chew. We also know that Mike will be trying to contain the cartel’s wrath, and Gus is already looking for a permanent solution to the Lalo Salamanca problem.

Could this spell the end for the wily and ruthless cartel member? Only the upcoming episode will tell us. However, with the season coming to an end, we can expect the action to pick up the pace.
