Big Brother Season 23 Episode 9 Recap
In the ninth episode of ‘Big Brother’ season 23, Britini was overridden with panic after she found her name on the block. She spoke to Xavier and then resolved to win the Veto to save herself. Brent initially remained unaware of how the others were planning to vote him out but later caught on to Xavier’s gameplay as the Aces extended fake sympathy to Brent. Azah was moving right, left, and center to help out her friend Britini, who had dissolved into a puddle of tears by then. When she finally confronted Tiffany, Azah just said it didn’t matter since Brent was the target.
Christian and Alyssa cuddled under the sheets, and Xavier was disturbed at the sight of that. Xavier, Britini, Brent, Christian, Derek F, and Whitney stepped in as the competitors for the Veto competition. The game required them to spin a handle 15 times before moving to a bowling lane to knock down a set of pins. Every time a blocker obstructs the balls, players must spin again to remain in the game. Christian defeated Derek F in the final leg of the game, thus claiming the power of the Veto.
Brent was certain about his chances of being saved this week until he saw Britini and Christian chatting away over a game of pool. He then went around asking everyone to convince Christian not to use the Veto, hoping that Britini will be voted out, and sure enough, everyone, including the Aces, pretended to side with him. According to Brent, the upcoming nomination would play out as a surprise to Xavier, who he knows has planned to get him evicted.
