Big Brother Season 23 Episode 3 Recap
The third episode delineated the events after the nomination ceremony. Frenchie’s decision to send Kyland and Alyssa on the block didn’t sit well with everyone expecting him to keep the ladies in the house safe. Kyland dealt with it on his own terms, while Alyssa wanted to know why she was chosen and was stunned when the HoH revealed that he sensed something cooking between her and Christian. That is the reason why Frenchie nominated her. He then moved on to Derek X, another possible target who was spotted forming connections with the rest of the members.
The highlight of the episode was the Veto Competition, where the guests had to work their way around a cocktail maze. Derek X used a unique strategy that earned him a win and an advantage over the rest of them. Frenchie, as expected, didn’t take it that well. His entire game has fallen apart, but that obviously did not stop him from walking up to Derek and asking him whether he would save Kyland so that the HoH is free to nominate Travis. Derek, wanting to be in Frenchie’s good books, decided to go with it, putting Travis on the block. It seemed like the game is still in Frenchie’s hands.
