My Hero Academia Season 4 Episode 18 Spoilers: What to Expect?

In the 17th episode of ‘My Hero Academia’ Season 4, Kacchan and Todoroki and the other heroes at the hero license training center find themselves in some dilemma when they’re asked to look after young rebellious kids who have quirks. A battle ensues between the two parties and the heroes find themselves at a very tough spot where they can either fully unleash their quirks and hurt the kids or they can hold themselves back and further mess up the situation. Either of the two situations would do them more harm than good and would completely destroy the whole purpose of this test.

So the heroes decide to get creative and instead of attacking the kids, they use their quirks to entertain them. Kacchan and Todoroki create a giant ice slide for the kids with concentric fire circles all around it. The kids absolutely fall in love with this creation and are blown away by the creativity that the heroes use to create it. With this, the heroes are successfully able to control the kids without harming them or spoiling them in any way.

Kacchan then approaches the leader of the kids and asks him to set an example for others instead of looking down on them. The kid realizes that everything he’s telling him makes absolute sense and gets really inspired by his worlds. After this drill comes to an end, even Todoroki’s father tells him that he’s really proud of him.

The episode then reflects on how all the students who were previously involved in the battle against villains have now recovered. In the meantime, even Eri seems to be doing quite well and the horn on her head has substantially dwindled. Back at school, Aoyama stalks Deku and suddenly becomes overly friendly with him. He even haunts him at night and leaves some cheese at his window seal. Aoyama later tells him that he has always been inspired by his journey and how far he’s come. With this, Deku ends up making another new friend and for once, everything seems to be just fine.

The next episode will revolve around an upcoming school festival where all the students of class 1-A will finally get to have some fun. Many of them have gone through a lot in the past few weeks and they really deserve a break. So again, the next episode won’t really have much action and will serve more as a filler. But apart from that, the preview of episode 18 also reveals that a whole new threat is starting to surface. The details regarding this aren’t revealed but this new threat could have something to do with the league of villains.

Apart from this, since Eri is now recovering, Deku might get a chance to visit her later. Eri’s quirk might still not be under her control, but it is clearly one of the strongest quirks out there. So she’ll surely prove to be a huge asset for the heroes in whatever that lies ahead. Overhaul was, by far, one of the best villains of the series so far but the heroes will not have to prepare themselves from something much bigger and stronger. With only 8 more episodes to go now, hopefully, ‘My Hero Academia’ will have something even better in store for us and will eventually end with a satisfying conclusion.
