As I’ve mentioned in some of my reviews earlier, ‘My Hero Academia’ is the kind of anime that does not confine itself to the stereotypes of the shounen genre. Apart from featuring some incredible fight scenes, it makes you go through a roller coaster of emotions. Episode 23 makes you realize how much you love all of its characters and you can’t help but shed a tear or two when Eri finally smiles for the first time. This season is almost coming to an end and from what we know, it might also drop some subtle hints about what could potentially happen in the next season. So to make sure that you’re updated with all of that, read on further to know all about the upcoming episode.
When is My Hero Academia Season 4 Episode 24 Release Date?
My Hero Academia Season 4 Episode 24 Spoilers: What to Expect?
Episode 23 is one of the most pleasant and uplifting episodes of the season. It’s sad that Gentle Criminal will now have to face some form of punishment for what he did and even La Brava’s future seems uncertain, but at the end of the day, what matters is that the school festival ended successfully. After Gentle Criminal gets caught, Deku makes his way back to the school to perform with his dance team. He reaches right on time and assembles with the music and dance team on stage. In the meantime, Mirio waits for the performance with Eri.
The performance begins and everyone is blown away by how amazing it turns out to be. Apart from the usual singing and dancing that everyone had expected from it, the band members also use their own quirks to add more aesthetics to the overall performance. The episode then finally ends with Eri giving Deku and Mirio a huge beautiful smile. She finally gets the happiness that she truly deserves and though she’ll still take time to recover from her past, she is now in safe hands. Episode 23 has a special end credits scene in which Gentle is interrogated by the police.
For some reason, it seems like he still has a bigger role to play in the future events of the anime. There’s a lot of foreshadowing going on here, but his role in the overarching plot still seems unclear. There are times when he seems like the kind of guy who would support the heroes but then there are other moments when it seems like he could be against them. The next episode in this season will finally reveal the current hero rankings.
Now that All Might has retired, it is hard to tell who’ll be the next number-one hero. Going by the previous ranks, Endeavor should be right on top and Hawks should be next. Speaking of Hawks, he will finally make his debut in the next episode and since his appearance has already been highlighted in the post-credits of Episode 23, he’ll probably have a significant role to play in the episodes that’ll follow. Also, we can expect this season to end with some major cliffhangers surrounding the intentions of the league of villains.
