Charmed Season 3 Episode 16 Recap
In ‘Charmed’ season 3 episode 16, titled ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting the Apocalypse,’ Jordan returns from his trip as he learns about everything that has tormented the Charmed Ones over his absence. They inform him about Mel’s pregnancy, the possible apocalypse, and their journey into the future. Elsewhere, Corporate stops covering the utilities at SafeSpace and are about to sell the building. Jordan navigates through the legalities of the situation. Abigael takes her sister Waverly’s help in healing Macy, for which they need the Blade of Clarity.
Moments later, a demon shows up and attempts to kill them. Maggie and Macy discover that the Whispering Evil is a monster that belongs in the Tomb of Chaos. Now, they are all in danger of being possessed by it. They subsequently ingest a potion made out of Mel’s fetal cells to cure their allergy. It turns out that the Swan and a few others at SafeSpace are infected with the Whispering Evil. Harry tells Macy that his orbing isn’t helping his case of unfinished dreams that are afflicting him. Waverly hides at a manor, trying to evade the demon.
Later, Mel lures the demon into her hideout and calls upon her old power of freezing time to stop him. Overpowered by the Charmed Ones, the demon has no other choice but to tell them that Francesca hired him to kill Waverly’s daughter. Waverly ultimately kills him. Swan knocks Harry out, which allows him to finish his dream, and once he wakes up, he sprinkles his dreamless sleep powder on Swan, rendering her unconscious. Maggie gets a vision that confirms Jordan has been captured by the Whispering Evil. In the end, Macy and Maggie are cured of their allergies which helps them quarantine the infected.
