Chicago Med Season 5 Episode 17 Recap:

In episode 17, April finally reveals to Ethan that she had kissed Crockett on the night her partner had departed for his deployment. She asks his forgiveness but Ethan is hurt. April also tells him that the incident was entirely her fault and Crockett is not to be blamed. But a dejected and angry Ethan does not heed to her words and vents out his frustration by shoving Crockett several times until they are stopped by Platt.

Later, April attends Maggie and Ben’s wedding but cannot see Ethan anywhere. On the other hand, in the same venue, Natalie tells Crockett, “You hit on April? I was beginning to think you were a good guy.” Crockett replies: “Whatever gave you that idea?”

In another scene, Hannah is back in the hospital after her stint at the rehab. Will attempts to reconcile with her and seeks her help with April. Eventually, Hannah agrees and Will tells her: “You’re an excellent doctor. I believe in you. I wasn’t about to let you throw your life away. And if I had to do it over, I’d do the same thing.”

Hannah also realizes that what Will did was actually needed to bring her back on track. She says: “If I’m honest with myself, what you did was what I needed. It has not been easy. You gave me my life back.” After that, they together decide to attend Ben and Maggie’s wedding.
