Chicago Med Season 7 Episode 1 Recap

In the season 7 premiere titled ‘You Can’t Always Trust What You See,’ Will Halstead makes a comeback after being fired from the ED. He had caught hold of Goodwin, who wanted him to assist in an investigation at the hospital. The prime suspect was Dr. Cooper, whose secret dealings had to be captured on tape, so as soon as Will managed to do that, he got his job back.

However, Will has a tiff with Dr. Crockett Marcel, who insists on performing surgery on one of Will’s former patients. The skilled surgeon later realizes that his approach is incorrect, much to Will’s relief as the operation is thereafter canceled. Dr. Dean Archer and Dr. Vanessa Taylor meet two identical twins who want the same treatment, although only one of them is sick. This helps them retain their element as twins who function as a unit. Archer calls for Daniel Charles to take over as a psychiatrist.

Things get awry when the twins switch places at the operating table, but Charles finds out just in time and stops the surgery. The next patient is a Black girl suffering from sickle cell anemia. Hammer immediately discerns that she is homeless, prompting him to visit his mother, Lower Wacker Drive, and help her get off the streets.
