How did Chingy earn his money and wealth?
Chingy was born on March 9, 1980. He is an American rapper, actor and singer. He had given many hit singles and albums and recorded with many popular labels. Chingy started writing lyrics when he was nine years old and was recording raps by the time he turns 10. He was originally known by the name of H Thugz and was in the St. Louis group, Without Warning on 49 Productions with M.G.D. & Mysphit. Chingy’s released his debut album Jackpot on July 15, 2003 on Disturbing the Peace.
Chingy released his next album, Powerballin’, in 2004 through the Records, Slot-A-Lot Records and Capitol Records. The album topped at #10 on the charts and included the hit single “Balla Baby.” The album highlights guest appearances from great artists like R. Kelly, Lil Flip, Bun B, Lil Wayne, Janet Jackson, Nate Dogg, David Banner, and Get It Boyz. Chingy’s fourth studio album, Hate It or Love It, was released in 2007. The album was produced by Timbaland, Scott Storch, and Cool and Dre. The main single is “Fly Like Me”, including Amerie. The album introduced appearances by great singers like Ludacris, Steph Jones, Bobby Valentino, Rick Ross, Anthony Hamilton and Trey Songz. The album occupied the position at #84 on the Billboard 200, selling total of 30,000 copies, failing to enter the Top 10. It was his first album to fail to appear in top 10. The album was released in many countries excluding the UK.
In 2012 Chingy started working on his fifth studio album titled No Risk No Reward, which was supposed to be released in 2012 itself, but later released in 2016 due to lack of funding. “Superhero”, highlighting artist Chris Woodhouse, from Full Dekk Music Group was supposed to be the first single from the album. Chingy then announced that he would be soon releasing a mixtape called Jackpot Back, which was eventually released in 2012. Now Chingy is working on his next upcoming EP album called Chingology which released later this year.
Chingy has also done many notable movies and television shows. In 2005, Chingy made his acting debut with the comedy series My Wife and Kids. In 2006 Chingy did a guest role in the movie Scary Movie 4.
