‘Danger Force’, created as a spin-off to Nickelodeon’s superhit kids’ series, ‘Henry Danger’, is a part of the channel’s strategy to expand on its popular original franchises. Introducing more characters and high-stakes adventures, ‘Danger Force’ brings in a set of new heroes, who joins the members of the original crew. Of course, considering the appeal of the parent series, we were not surprised when the sister show opened to good reviews and viewerships as well. Now that its first season has concluded, let’s help you out with the details of the next edition.
Danger Force Season 2 Release Date:
‘Danger Force’ season 1 premiered on March 28, 2020, on Nickelodeon. After airing its 7th episode in August 2020, the show went on a break because of production shutdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During this hiatus, it aired a series of remotely-filmed, five minisodes. It returned with its eighth episode on November 7, 2020, and finally wrapped up with its 13th episode on December 18, 2020.
Although Nickelodeon has not greenlit the show yet, there should not be any reason to worry. The show, just like its predecessor (‘Henry Danger’) quickly progressed to become a beloved title, especially among the young audience. We expect news on a renewal soon. If given a go-ahead in the next couple of months, we can expect ‘Danger Force’ season 2 to premiere sometime in 2021.
Danger Force Season 2 Cast: Who Can be in it?
‘Danger Force’ stars Cooper Barnes as Ray aka Captain Man, the resident and the indestructible superhero of Swellview. We have Michael D. Cohen as Schwoz, the one who had created Captain Man, while Havan Flores plays Chapa, a girl with the power of electrokinesis. Rounding up the lead cast is Terrence Little Gardenhigh as Miles (who can teleport), Dana Heath as Mika (endowed with the capability of the sonic scream), and Luca Luhan as Bose (who possesses the power of telekinesis). Season 2 is expected to see the entire lead cast making a comeback.
Danger Force Season 2 Plot: What Can it be About?
In ‘Danger Force’, we meet four kids — Chapa, Miles, Mika, and Bose, who enroll in the Swellview Academy for the Gifted (also known as SW.A.G. for short). The institute is created by Captain Man and Schwoz who accidentally become mutants in the fight to save Swellview. The fresh recruits have special powers but they must learn to harness and control their abilities. The foursome also teams up with Captain Man to fight crimes. In the midst of everything, they need to hide their identities — from both their families and foes. Season 2 will embrace the same premise and continue to follow the squad as they save their city while polishing their rare skills.
