How did Dru Down earn his money and wealth?
Dru Down was born on September 14, 1969, in Oakland, California, USA. His original name is Danyel Robinson. Today he is a part of The Regime, a combination of rappers that contains Yukmouth, Tech N9ne, Messy Marv, BG Bulletwound, Dorasel, Grant Rice, Tha Realest and Gonzoe.
He started developing an interest in rap music in the late 1980s, and gradually started documenting his own music, launching his first debut record Fools from the Street in 1993 to average achievements in the Bay Area. The regional achievements of his record led him to be finalized by Relativity Information, a Sony Music mark to discharge his second record Explicit Game in 1994. The record produced Dru Down’s most effective single album, Pimp of the Year, which actually peaked at number 65 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Dru Down’s third record, Can You Feel Me, was published in 1996, and produced an individual of the same name that was a small but professional hit. It also presented Dru Down’s first and only cooperation with his dad, Bootsy Collins. One of the album’s music, Mista Busta addresses Dru Down’s then-ongoing feud with other Bay Area artist “Too Short” and functions as a track towards Too Short. He operates his own record brand titled Pimp On Records. He used this platform to launch his 2010 record Stories of a Pimp. He is a member of the hip-hop collective The Regime which is led by Yukmouth. They were successful in launching their first appearance record titled Dragon Gang in 2013.
