On March 31, 2020, Food Network announced that it had renewed the show for its second outing. Courtney White, President, Food Network, confirmed the news in a statement, saying: “Duff Goldman is the master of dazzling and astonishing cakes, mixing unrestrained creativity and ingenuity in each and every one of his one-of-a-kind cakes designs. The new season will warm viewers’ hearts as Duff and his talented team build and deliver cakes to well-deserving people and audiences will be entertained with witty, behind the scenes moments as the spectacular cakes come to life.”
‘Duff Takes the Cake’ season 2 will premiere on June 8, 2020, at 10 pm ET/PT. The second season will consist of five half-hour episodes.
