How did Eli Manning earn his money and wealth?
Eli Manning is a professional football player under the National Football League (NFL) in the United States. He was born as Elisha Nelson Manning IV on January 3, 1981, in New Orlean, Louisiana. He comes from a family which includes his parents, Archie and Olivia and two brothers, Cooper and Peyton. His father was also an NFL quarterback. He studied in Isidore Newman School where he played high school football. He decided to join Ole Mississippi University where he played with the Rebels. In 2004 he was invited to play in the Senior Bowl but he declined the offer. Manning achieved many records while attending Ole Miss. He was given the title of the nation’s best all-around player when he won the Maxwell Award, the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, College Football Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete Award, the National Football Association, the SEC Most Valuable Player Award and the Sports News Radio Socrates Award.
Manning began his career by being the first pick in the 2004 NFL draft. He was first picked by the San Diego Chargers who later exchanged him for Philip Rivers and transferred him to the New York Giants. He signed a six-year $45 million contract with them in 2004. His NFL debut was against the Philadelphia Eagles. He was named the starter for 2005 after Warner left the Giants.
Manning and his family members have appeared in the ad for ESPN “This is SportsCenter” in 2006. He has also co-starred for Oreo and NFLShop.com with his brother Peyton.
