Family Karma Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

In ‘Family Karma’ season 2 episode 6, titled ‘Good Vibrations,’ Amrit introduced his boyfriend, Nicholas, to his grandmother. After recovering from a stressful period of time, Amrit was relieved to see his grandmother finally getting along with the love of his life. Her approval is the only blessing he ever needed. She also empathized with Nicholas and asked him if being with Amrit invited trouble. Although she expected Nicholas’ family to be way more accepting than her clan that greatly values tradition, Nicholas revealed that he was disowned by his folks.

Being born and brought up in a Christian family, Nicholas never acknowledged his own identity for years. But after he found Amrit, things slowly fell into place. The only thing left now is for Amrit to finally propose to him. Elsewhere, Brian and his girlfriend Monica talked about their current priorities in life. It has always been very clear that Monica wants to settle down as soon as possible, but Brian does not share her desire of getting married and having kids. Even if he didn’t downright reject her, he still asked for some time to figure things out. However, it seemed as if Monica’s eagerness to tie the knot stems from the fact that she is thirty and unmarried. In the end, it was revealed that Brian had been suspended from work during the pandemic, which came as a shock to everyone, especially Monica.
