Garrett Isaac Morris was born on February 1, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S. and is an 81-year-old American comedian, actor, teacher and singer. He was brought up by his grandfather who was a Southern Baptist minister. He did his schooling from Juilliard School of Music and Dillard University he did his graduation in 1958.in 1956 he received a scholarship and attended the prestigious Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts and also got the“Tanglewood Conductors Award”. In 1994, he was shot in an attempt to robbery and was severely injured with the bullet landing in his spine.
