George Lopez, an American comedian, was born in the suburbs of Mission Hills in California, Los Angeles in 1961 in April. He was abandoned by his parents and was brought up by his maternal grandmother. Lopez has also fought kidney failure, where his wife donated one of her kidneys. He is often seen as creating awareness among people through his shows. He runs a charity in the name of ‘The Ann & George Lopez Foundation’ for the interest of the people fighting for lives due to kidney failure.
Lopez hosted one of the major morning radio shows in LA in 1991, becoming the first Latino to host an early morning English show.
