How did Ghostface Killah earn his money and wealth?

Ghostface Killah is born on May 9 in 1970. He is an American rapper and member of the famous Wu-Tang Clan. His original name was Dennis Coles. After the group received breakthrough success through Wu-Tang, the members began their solo career reaching new heights of success. Killah worked under various record labels and also released some solo albums. Ghostface Killah began his solo-career in 1996 with Ironman, which was appreciated and well- received by music artists. He continued receiving fame and success with super hit albums such as Supreme Clientele (2000) and Fishscale (2006). His stage name, Ghostface Killah was taken from one of the characters in the kung fu film, Mystery of Chessboxing in 1979. He is the owner and founder of his own label Starks Enterprises.

In 2003, Ghostface signed with Def Jam Records and released many successful albums under Def Jam. In 2006, MTV included him on the list of The Greatest MCs of All Time, while the placed him on the list of the top 50 MCs of Our Time from the year 1987-2007, calling him as one of the most creative and imaginative storytellers of all times. Ghostface released an album in 2012 with Wu-Block, a D-Block member. The album was released on E1 Music and topped at number 73 on the US Billboard 200 chart, with 8,600 copies sold in the first week of its release in the United States. In the second week, it fell to #152 selling 4,200 more copies. In 2012, in an interview with Complex Magazine, Ghostface Killah confirmed that he has left Def Jam, with the release of the album Apollo Kids.

April 16, 2013, marked the day when Ghostface released his album Twelve Reasons to Die produced by Adrian Younge. The album was released in DVDs and CDs under Soul Temple Records of RZA. In 2014, Killah appeared on the Couples Therapy, a VH1 series with his girlfriend Kelsey Nykole. In the same year, he announced that he would be releasing his album named 36 Seasons in December 2014. He joined with BADBADNOTGOOD, a Canadian jazz band, on an album called Sour Soul which was released in 2015.

In 2015, Twelve Reasons to Die II, a sequel of Twelve Reasons to Die was released by him. Killah also made an appearance in some other movies like Belly, Black and White, Hunter Dawson, fade to Black, IronMan and when in Rome.
