Good Bones Season 5 Release Date: When Will it Premiere?
‘Good Bones’ season 4 premiered on May 14, 2019, on HGTV. After spanning 15 episodes, it ended on August 20, 2019. With its fourth outing garnering around 17 million viewers, a fifth edition from the hit show was always a guarantee. And in June 2019, the hosts announced its renewal on their Instagram handle. They wrote:
“We have some VERY exciting news to share!! We have officially been renewed for Season Five of Good Bones!! Who else is as hyped as we are?! Season Five will have 13 episodes and will premiere in 2020! We are already hard at work filming for the new season!!”
‘Good Bones’ season 5 is slated to release on June 9, 2020, with new episodes landing every Tuesday at 9 pm ET/PT & 8 pm CT.
Good Bones Season 5 Hosts
Season 5 marks the return of Karen E. Laine and her daughter, Mina Starsiak Hawk, as the primary hosts. They started flipping houses to pass their spare time in Fountain Square, Indianapolis. In 2008, the pair launched their home renovation business: Two Chicks and a Hammer, Inc. Mina currently works as a real estate agent and Karen takes inspiration from the art of native artists to incorporate the designs in the revamped spaces. In the show, we follow the duo as they tackle run-down houses in Fountain Square and Bates–Hendricks, Indianapolis.
The upcoming season will also see appearances from Mina’s husband, Steve; their son, Jack; Mina’s brother, Tad Starsiak; Cory Miller; and Austin Aynes. Although Karen has retired from the day-to-day operations of Two Chicks and a Hammer, she will still make a comeback in season 5 to work alongside her daughter. Cory is the construction project manager and the property manager at Two Chicks and a Hammer Inc.
What Can Good Bones Season 5 be About?
‘Good Bones’ is centered around Karen E. Laine and Mina Starsiak Hawk, who purchase and renovate some of the most dilapidated properties in Indianapolis. After stripping down the houses, they rework on them from scratch. Season 5 will follow the mother-daughter duo as they take up a bunch of new projects, which include an old biker bar, a hoarder house destroyed by fire, and the most expensive home they have ever bought. Alongside these renovations, we will also see Mina’s challenging IVF journey and Karen’s announcement regarding her departure from their brand’s day-to-day operations.
