Good Girls Season 3 Episode 9 Recap:
Agent Donnegan is hot on the trail of the ladies. Meanwhile, the women plan to hire Max’s cousin so that they can orchestrate the hit on Rio. They finally meet their guy at a diner. Twist? He has no arms; so he cannot pull the trigger. But he says that he specializes in car bombs. He also gives the girls a lead for a sniper.
After the salon heist, the trio tests the nail paint shades to find the closest match. However, Rio immediately spots the difference in the counterfeit notes. Surprisingly, he says to Beth that he cannot give her any incentives, hands her the gun, and asks her to kill him. But she gives the weapon back. Rio now makes the reveal. It was the same gun used to kill Lucy and now he has her fingerprints as evidence for Lucy’s murder.
Beth is aghast and she tells Annie: “Why did I touch it? I’m, like, so used to that man just handing me guns that I don’t even think about it!” Annie suggests stealing more products from the salon but Beth denies the offer as the woman there has seen their faces. Ruby tells that her face has not been revealed yet.
Ruby takes along her daughter to the salon as an accomplice. After Ruby gets what she needed, Sara calls her a hypocrite. Ruby explodes and tells her daughter: “What, you thought kidneys grow on trees? I made a choice, OK? To do something I thought I would never do. It wasn’t for fun or to have nice things. I bought you a second chance. I stole it. And I will be damned if I threw my soul away so you could turn out like this.” In another scene, the sniper guy contacts Ruby and demands $60,000 for the job.
