Good Girls Season 4 Episode 12 Recap
‘Good Girls’ season 4 episode 12 is titled ‘Family First.’ In the latest episode, Beth’s loyalty is tested yet again when Rio asks her to sacrifice someone she loves. Moments before this unreasonable proposition, Rio shows up at Annie’s door, implying that he wants her to come along with him. In response, she peeps into her phone, and Rio tells her to keep it away. At the Bolands’, Beth and Dean argue over the money she lost.
Dean’s former gang mates (turned into lawyers) want substantial evidence against Beth, which pressurizes him. Seconds later, Ben storms in, concerned about his mother, who has disappeared without prior warning. Beth immediately realizes what Rio has been up to, but the sly gangster wants his money and could go to any lengths to retrieve every cent of it. Elsewhere, Annie gets driven around inside a truck. Mick, the driver, takes her to a shady location, and Annie presumes she is approaching her death. The good girls prepare to pay off the taxes for the club so they can resume their business at peace.
After a brief beef with Emma Caulfield, who manages to outbid them at the auction, they use their sly tactics to take the club back. Mick and Annie are stopped by the cops, who are certain that the vulnerable-looking lady in the truck is a victim of assault. However, she deflects their accusations stating that they are a couple. The episode ends with Ruby and Beth working on their next batch and Annie’s return to civilization. Beth then visits Nick for some advice as we see Stan scheming with the lawyers.
