Grey’s Anatomy Season 17 Episode 6 Recap

Owen and Amelia grudgingly save the life of a human trafficker. Andrew identifies another member of the human trafficking ring in the parking lot of Grey Sloan and persuades Carina to help him follow the human trafficker. Maggie laments the fact that Black people are treated as disposable by the flawed system. Seattle Presbyterian is at full capacity so Richard institutes “surge capacity protocols” at Grey Sloan as all the new patients of the other hospital are sent to Grey Sloan for treatment. Richard also tells Teddy that she needs to clean up her messes and take stock of her life.

Teddy comes clean to Owen about her involvement with Allison. Meredith wakes up, gets an update on her kids and patients, and looks like she is on the road to recovery. But later that night, her stats sink low and Meredith has to be put on the ventilator.
