The official description for episode 7 goes like this — “Sam is shook when he asks Treach for his blessing to marry Egypt. Panic strikes when Tee Tee’s sabotage derails Sam’s proposal. Rev Run counsels JoJo and Tanice while they navigate through their relationship issues before officiating their marriage.”

Growing Up Hip Hop Season 5 Episode 6 Recap:
Episode 6 of ‘Growing Up Hip Hop’ is titled ‘Yo Boogie Got the Next Date’. The episode starts off right from when Tee Tee leaves when Twist asks Tee Tee if she desires to be with Egypt’s man. In the midst of the party, Egypt and Tee Tee have a face-off where Egypt seems to believe Sam’s statements. Tee Tee walks off yet again.
In the next scene, Boogie visits his business partner DJ and they discuss their plan of opening a rehab center. They have already bought a property and just need to start on Boogie’s long-term goal. Dame Dash drops by and feels that the property might be a scam. Boogie does not believe this and says that they had purchased it for $600K after depositing the down payment.
The conversation then shifts to Dame’s issues with Ava and his legal problems with Rachel Roy. Boogie does not give any biased comments. On the other hand, Briana calls Tee Tee and tries to reconcile while attempting to stop Sam from proposing Egypt. Tee Tee is doubtful but ends up agreeing.
The following day, Boogie meets up with Angela for their planned outing — although he arrives a little late. We come to know that Angela thinks Boogie to be just a friend. The duo talks about Sam and Tee Tee. Boogie believes that their meet-up went well and wants to wrap it up in a photo booth.
Tee Tee informs Tyrann about Briana wanting to meet her. She embarks on her short trip to the restaurant while Sam is with his father Nathan in Bakersfield. Nathan is disappointed with his son’s eye patch and is concerned that it might mess up his upcoming show. Sam brings up the engagement plans and Nathan asks him if Egypt knows about his two baby mamas.
Tee Tee meets up with Briana and the two just start off with drinks when Troy drops by. Troy and Pepa previously had a beef and Tee Tee is quite doubtful. On the other hand, Sam makes a stop at Pepa’s hotel and Pepa appears supportive but she asks him to talk to Treach. Brianna, at the restaurant, brings back the conversation to Sam’s proposal. Toward the end, we see Tee Tee having an awkward alliance with Briana and Troy in order to spoil Sam’s plan.
