Haikyuu!! Season 4 Episode 11 Recap

Members of Karasuno appear at the venue of the Nationals and encourage all the players while appreciating how far they’ve all come.  Kageyama also settles himself in the game and starts playing so well that almost everyone in the audience notices him. Atsumu Miya also sits in the stands and discovers how different Kageyama is from the camps and apart from that, he also notices Hinata’s game. Tsubakihara, too, does not give up and keeps fighting back. The score of both the teams almost remains equal throughout. There’s this one part in the episode where Tsubakihara also manages to get past Kageyama’s defense but just when they think they’ll win, Hinata takes a hit on his body and keeps the ball in the air.

Hinata is not really able to position himself accurately, but his team members start noticing that he’s getting really good at understanding the movement of the ball. Almost all of them appreciate his instincts and efforts. Tsubakihara deploys a new server who goes by the name Himekawa. But at a very crucial point in the game, this new server completely ruins his serve and ends up hitting one of his teammates in the head. With this, Karasuno wins the first set. Soon after this, even the second set is led by Karasuno by a single point lead. Himekawa is substituted again and proves how great of a server he is.

Tsubakihara begins to gain some momentum in the last set but Karasuno is again able to catch up with it. Both teams then end up having a tied score of 23-23. Karasuno’s team co-ordination stumbles a little but Daichi is able to adapt to this and save the team from losing any crucial points. In the final moments of the match, both the teams try their best to win and a very long rally ensues, but Karasuno just manages to overpower Tsubakihara with their strong offense and eventually win the match.
