Higurashi When They Cry Episode 5 Release Date
‘Higurashi: When They Cry – SOTSU’ episode 5, titled ‘Cotton-Revealing Chapter, Part 2,’ is set to release on July 22, 2021, on Tokyo MX, BS11, and SUN. Studio Passione has developed the anime in collaboration with Funimation. The series has retained most of the cast and crew from ‘Higurashi: When They Cry – Gou,’ with Keiichiro Kawaguchi helming the directorial team, Naoki Hayashi leading the writing staff, Akio Watanabe handling the character designs, and Kenji Kawai composing the music. The opening theme track is “Analogy” by Ayane, while the ending theme track is “Missing Promise” by Konomi Suzuki.

Higurashi When They Cry Episode 5 Spoilers
In episode 4, after their deaths, both Satoko and Rena end up in the realm of the time fragments. Satoko speaks to Eua, who admits that Satoko’s actions entertain her. In the fragment, Satoko decides that she and Rika need a better way to kill each other. She asks Mion to teach how to shoot and then uses one of her uncle’s contact to acquire a real gun and bullets. By now, she has been in so many loops that she has started experimenting to see where different actions will lead her.
On June 12, 1983, the club holds a tournament at a local store with 50,000 yen as a cash prize. After they win their respective matches, Satoko takes Mion aside and injects Mion with H-173 to see how she will react to it. In episode 5, with H-173 coursing through her through veins, Mion will likely become paranoid. Rika might start to get an idea that something sinister is happening behind the scenes.
