Hospital Playlist Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

In the second episode of season 2, Lee Ik-jun is in a state of panic after his friends misuse his card. Seok-hyeong and Min-ha’s pregnancy calls for emergency surgery. Seok-hyeong tells Min-ha to keep a check on the patient. Sadly, Su-jeong’s baby does not survive. Jun-wan brings the news about a young child Min-chan needing a heart transplant. He informs the mother about the existing VAD that will support the lad until they find a transplant. Song-hwa meets a lady having a deep tumor that requires surgery.

Although there are risks involved in the operation, Song-hwa confidently reassures Yoo Gyeong-jin that she can handle it. After a few tough moments in the operation room, the surgery turns out successful. Elsewhere, Lee Ik-jun checks on patient Kim Jang-ho who has abstained from his medication and has been drinking excessively. He has had a liver transplant and is celebrating by drinking five days a week. Ik-jun resolves never to treat him if he does not stop drinking, so the man obliges. Later, Kim Su-jeong drops off flowers and a note for Seok-hyeong, reiterating that he tried his best to save the baby.

However, when Yang Seok-hyeong’s ex-wife is interested in seeing him more often, he turns her down, stating that her presence makes him feel uncomfortable.
