Ahn Jeong-won and Gyeo-ul will head out to see the ocean together but something will not seem right. On the other hand, Jun-wan will struggle to get over his break up with Ik-sun.

Hospital Playlist Season 2 Episode 4 Recap

In the fourth episode of ‘Hospital Playlist’ season 2, Jun-wan finds out about Ik-sun’s distressing situation following her car accident. But she reassures that everything is fine and her test results will finally reveal how she is doing. Jun-wan feels helpless because of the distance between them. At the hospital, Do Je-hak realizes that their patient, Eun-ji, is in a critical condition and calls for Jun-wan.

They somehow manage to stabilize her condition, but Jun-wan is aware that they might not be able to save her in the future. He informs the same to Eun-ji’s mother, who now has little hope left, but Jun-wan is still rooting for a possible heart transplant. Meanwhile, Ik-jun does not want Jun-wan to overwork himself and advises him to take some time off. Jun-wan reveals that he is worried about a lot of things, including his relationship with his girlfriend. But Ik-jun has no idea that his friend is dating his little sister Ik-sun. Later, during a phone call with her, Ik-jun unknowingly hurts her when he mentions that his friend is dealing with a difficult girlfriend.

Moreover, Jun-wan feels insecure about Ik-sun spending more time with Se-gyeong. His feelings then take the better of him when Jun-wan calls to break things off with him. But but as soon as she gets off the phone, we learn about her deteriorating health. She is in urgent need of a liver transplant and begs her brother to keep it a secret from her parents as well as Jun-wan. Ik-jun asks her to come back to South Korea to get treated.
