Fox’s ‘I Can See Your Voice’ is a music game show with a twist, which is hosted by Ken Jeong. Featuring Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton as its regular panelists, each episode has a rotating panel of celebrity detectives, consisting of comedians, pop culture legends, and musical icons. The panel guides the players in choosing between the good and bad singers, without having the option to hear them. The highest cash prize that can be won on an episode is $100,000 — if the contestant succeeds in weeding out the bad “Secret Voices” from the good ones.

The upcoming episode sees guest panelists Katharine McPhee, Joel McHale, and Niecy Nash, joining judges Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Houghton. Together, they test the chosen contestant’s limits as s/he attempts to identify the ‘false’ singers from real talents. The last-remaining singer then performs a duet with Katharine McPhee to reveal whether s/he can sing or not.

I Can See Your Voice Episode 9 Recap

In the 9th episode, the celebrity panel helping the contestant includes Robin Thicke, Nicole Byer, and Jeff Dye. Joining them are the permanent panelists, ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Cheryl Hines and ‘The Real’s Adrienne Houghton. The contestant is Stephen Reid. Among the six ‘secret singers’, we have Bailey Curbow (Rocker), Maeve Riley (Lifeguard), Cordy White (Dancer), James Calacsan (Accountant), Demetria Cherry (Vegas Showgirl), and Wrekless Watson (Drummer).

After the Lip Sync Challenge, Bailey and Maeve are eliminated. While Bailey is a terrible singer, Maeve is really good. Reid then progresses to Unlock My Life where Cordy (a bad singer) is eliminated. Secret Studio sees James going home, followed by Demetria in Interrogation. James can sing really well while Demetria is a pathetic singer.

After the first four rounds, Reid wins a cash prize of a total of $30, 000. In the final round, he decides to push his luck further and aim for the $1,00,000 cash prize. So, does he win?
