iCarly Reboot Episode 9 Recap

The ninth episode, titled ‘iMLM,’ opens with Freddie embarking on a new chapter in his life. He has found a new job in tech support that he seems deeply invested in, although his journey ahead looks vague considering how often he changes his mind. Carly sits down for a serious chat with her brother Spencer, who ironically doesn’t listen to her accusing him of being a bad listener even after she rolls out a few effective tips on overcoming this awful habit. Carly then moves on to her primary agenda for the day: meeting her ex-boyfriend Griffin, who is now selling sand that has healing properties.

Although it seems like a pyramid scheme, Carly and Harper give in to the idea with uncontested enthusiasm and zero suspicion. Harper is, in the meantime, preparing for a meeting with a stylist, and Millicent is hellbent on getting a dog. She asks Freddie to let her have this one wish that she is so helplessly pining after. To convince him, she invents a goofy newspaper publication titled “Woof Woof Herald” and does a whole story which states “Millicent Finally Gets Dog.” In the final moments of the episode, Carly invites Griffin to sell his therapeutic sand on the set of her web show ‘iCarly’ with Freddie leading the tech support team. In the middle of the show, Harper walks in and reveals that the product is actually fish food that ultimately exposes Griffin’s illegal venture.
