iCarly Reboot Episode 6 Recap

In the sixth episode titled ‘i’M Cursed,’ Carly’s friends book a trip to Snoqualmie Falls for her birthday, the only day of the year when the people spending time with her experience bad things. Carly obviously hates her birthday, and every year when it approaches, her anxieties begin to consume her. So she decides to skip the trip but changes her mind when the principal from her old high school visits her and drops off two letters for Carly as well as Freddie.

The reason behind the letters goes back to their old days when they used to be a part of a project involving letter writing. Freddie now wants to experience all the things he missed out on when he was in high school. On the other hand, Carly is more concerned about her mental health, especially her inability to move on from bad experiences rooted in the curse that never seems to leave her. Elsewhere, Harper meets a fashion designer photographer named Alexavier, who she is attracted to.

Spencer suggests throwing a surprise party for Carly to break the curse, and Harper agrees without batting an eyelid. She is eager to invite Alexavier to the party and establish a connection with him. When the day finally arrives, Spencer hires a psychic to falsify readings for Carly, making it look like she is free from the curse. However, as soon as he is done revealing her fortune, the man ends up dead, proving that the curse still exists. Freddie wraps his neck in plaster after a skating injury.
