There are many who consider IMDb top 250 as the holy grail of best ever movies. (We don’t.) Some consider as it is a good point of reference for some great movie recommendations. Whatever you consider it as, one has to agree that IMDb gives a good over all view of what movie lovers are thinking about a film. But remember these cinephiles are particular kind of movie lovers — who like to rate movies online.
The limitation of an open voting system will always remain that anyone can vote — even the ones who have limited knowledge about the subject matter, in this case cinema. And that’s why one shouldn’t expect IMDb ratings to be perfect. That brings us to this list, which comprises of Indian movies of 2017 that have been rated the highest on IMDb.
