Isekai Quartet Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

As one would expect from Kazuma, he turns to alcoholism and along with Grantz, Neumann, and Koenig, he decides to steal a bottle of wine from the principal’s office. As they sneak there, they end up running into Aqua who gets all excited about their plan and decides to join them. Knowing how unlucky she is, Kazuma asks her to stay out of it but she still forcefully tags along with them. Surprisingly, when they enter the principal’s office, nothing much happens, but as soon as they touch his wine bottle, a loud alarm starts ringing. Kazuma simply cuts off the power supply to the alarm and laughs at all the security measures the principal has taken despite being a former member of a renowned government organization.

This when four giant frogs leap out of nowhere and block the doorway that leads out of the principal’s office. Grantz, Neumann, and Koenig try to attack the four frogs but nothing really comes out it, as all of them get swallowed by them. Aqua then hopes that Kazuma would willingly jump inside the frog’s mouth just to save her but instead, he uses his stealth and gets out of there. The last giant frog chases Aqua through the corridors of the school and eventually catches up with her. She tries to seek help from Naofumi, but instead of protecting her from the frog, he uses his shields to save himself from it.

As soon as Aqua gets swallowed by the frog, Kazuma cleverly steals the bottle of wine from her. However, to his surprise, it turns out that the four frogs were a trap set by one of his teachers from school. The teacher then appears before him and uses his magical abilities to free all the others from the frog’s mouth. And that’s how another goofy adventure in this reverse Isekai comes to an end.
