Directed and written by Minoru Ashina, ‘Isekai Quartet’ is an anime short that features the characters of some renowned Isakai anime like ‘KonoSuba,’ ‘Overlord,’ ‘Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World,’ and ‘The Saga of Tanya the Evil.’ All of these characters get teleported to a normal high school after pressing a mysterious red button. Although this is yet another Isekai adventure, it is unlike any other you’ve ever seen before. Not to mention, each episode of ‘Isekai Quartet’ only lasts for 10-12 minutes, so you’ve got nothing to lose here.
With that said, if you love the endless gags and cutesy chibi-style characters of ‘Isekai Quartet’, read on ahead to know all about its next episode.

Isekai Quartet Season 2 Episode 4 Recap
‘Isekai Quartet’ brings in somewhat of an exam arc of its own where all the students of class 2 have to sit through an SAT-styled exam. When their teacher first announces the test, Ainz gets really worried and asks him if it is okay to fail. The whole class then tries to convince him that he does not have to worry about anything. While the others assume that he is only worried about one of his guardians’ performance, he actually frets over his lack of knowledge. But he just dismisses it by claiming that it won’t really have an impact on the world.
Soon, the test begins and all the students get completely involved in their tests. Ainz realizes that in order to score well, he’ll have to cheat. To do this, he uses his godly ability of freezing time. Surprisingly, as soon as he does this, everyone except for Aqua freezes. It then hits him that since Aqua is also a god like him, his abilities will not work on her. Aqua realizes that somehow time has frozen and tries to use this to her own advantage, while Ainz just sits there pretending that he, too, is frozen.
Soon after this, the time freeze abruptly comes to an end and Aqua is not able to return to her seat. She is then accused of cheating and sent out of the class. Ainz still struggles to make sense of the questions in the exam and just randomly marks bubbles in his answer sheet which strangely forms the image of Pandora’s Actor’s head. In the end, he still manages to get the perfect score in the exam and the rest of his classmates call him omnipotent.
