Isekai Quartet Season 2 Episode 6 Recap

An argument ensues between Ainz, Tanya, and Subaru. Ainz claims that ketchup goes well with chicken wings while Tanya says that she prefers the simple combination of wings with pepper and salt. Meanwhile, Subaru says that he can’t imagine having anything but mayonnaise with wings. With this, the entire class gets divided into three different groups and this argument just grows bigger. That’s when Rerugen enters the class and asks them to take their respective seats. He then claims that he couldn’t help but overhear their intense arguments on chicken wings and decides to finally settle the score. He asks everyone to vote what they prefer and this divides the entire class into three almost equal teams.

Rerugen then announces that they’ll settle the score with a game of dodgeball, but with Isekai characters who have come from an entirely different world, can we really expect a normal game? Of course not! The game begins and all the characters use their own unique abilities to knock out the other team. The game lasts for hours and to finally bring it to an end, Ainz’s team decides to go for a combo attack to defeat Tanya’s team. Unfortunately for them, the ball bursts after this attack and they are forced to accept a tie. In the end, after the game is over, none of them seem to remember why they started this argument in the first place and just dismiss it as something very silly.

That’s when one of them says that they should now go have croquettes to avoid any further arguments. But this again, raises several differentiating opinions on what topping goes best with it: Ketchup, Mayo or Salt & Pepper? With this, they start arguing all over again and they’ll probably have to choose a new sport now to settle the score.
