‘Isekai Quartet’ is slowly becoming one of the best anime crossovers ever made and what most viewers love about it is the involvement of characters from ‘Overlord.’ Although some might complain that the guardians have no traits of their own and only comes off as slaves of Ainz, if you’re familiar with the original ‘Overlord’ anime, you’ll actually find this more appealing and loyal to the source. This is probably the reason why most ‘Overlord’ fans will absolutely love the 7th episode of this season.

Isekai Quartet Season 2 Episode 7 Recap
Episode 7 of ‘Isekai Quartet’ focuses on the physical examination day of the school. Rem and Shalltear are assigned the task of helping the nurses with the physical examination of the girls while Naofumi is asked to manage the physical examination of the boys at the school’s gym. As always, Albedo and Shalltear are up to no good and try to sneak right into the boys’ gym just to get a glimpse of Ainz without his clothes on.
Shalltear initially even volunteers for the physical exam of the boys but her request is denied by one of their teachers. In order to make sure that Albedo and Shalltear stay in the nurse’s room and do what they’re expected to do there, Rem ties them up with a chain. While the other girls get busy with their examination, Rem makes sure that the two girls don’t sneak into the gym.
Meanwhile, at the gym, Kazuma plans something similar and intends to sneak into the nurse’s room. However, by the time he is able to pull off his plan, their examination gets over and he is left disappointed. The episode also features Pandora’s actor who goes around passing compliments on almost all the girls. In one of the scenes, Megumin proudly recalls how he noticed her eye patch and even complimented by calling it “not-so-ordinary.”
He even tells her that her look goes really well with Ainz’s overall aesthetic. With this, Megumin feels really flattered but Albedo gets jealous. Even Ram gets really upset by this as she realizes that Pandora’s actor complimented all the other girls but simply ignored her. In the closing scene of the episode, Albedo comes running towards Ainz and tells him that she appeals more to his taste than anyone else. To this, Megumin replies “When you gaze into my abyss, I am gazing back into your own.” With an evil laugh, she pokes fun at Albedo and the episode comes to an end.
