Jaclyn Smith, born on October 26 in 1945, is an American actress and Entrepreneur. Jaclyn is known for marketing her products and brands as well as for her acting skills. She rose to stardom with the hit television show Charlie’s Angels (1976–81). She was the only cast member in the series to remain with the show until its complete run.In 1976, Smith began her career with the role of Kelly Garrett in Charlie’s Angels; the show was telecasted in the form of the weekly movie. She portrayed the role of private detective along with Kate Jackson and Farrah Fawcett who work for a detective agency run by a multi-millionaire. In the show, the character of Charles Townsend presents cases and gives advice via a speakerphone to his main team of three female employees, to whom he referred as “Angels”. The program earned a high –rating on television and it became popular in a very short span of time. The series ran for 5 seasons and was a huge success around the world.
