How did Jason Aldean earn his money and wealth?
Jason Aldean is a country music singer whose formal name is Jason Aldine Williams. He was born on February 28, 1977, in Macon, Georgia. He was raised by his mother after his parents separated when he was three years old. During the summer break, he’d spend time with his father in Homestead, Florida. His father would map the guitar chords on a notebook before he left for work and Aldean would practice all day. When his father returned from work, then he’d also play along with Aldean on his own guitar. Aldean has a sharp ear and a keen sense for music that he could play a song after hearing it a few times. His parents were very supportive of his interest in music. As a 14-year-old, he wanted to perform on stage after watching the country music awards on TV. He performed at the local VFW hall in Macon where he sang “Seminole Wind” by John Anderson and “Sticks and Stones” by Tracy Lawrence. He later joined “Nashville S”, a house band. He performed in festivals and clubs along with his band around the Southeast.
Aldean struggled to find a recording company for quite a while even after moving to Nashville in 1998. Even though he had signed up with labels such as Warner-Chappell and others, the deals never materialized. He gave himself 6 more months in Nashville before moving back to Georgia. He was offered a deal by Broken Bow Records after 5 weeks. He released “Hicktown” as his debut single in 2005 and peaked at number 10 in the US Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
His self-titled debut album also included his first number one hit “Why”. The album was certified platinum by RIAA and earned him the title “Top New Male Vocalist” at the ACM Awards in 2006. He released his second album “Relentless” in 2007 which was also certified platinum by the RIAA. The album included hit singles “Johnny Cash” and “Laughed Until We Cried”. His third studio album “Wide Open” was released in 2009 and featured “She’s Country”, “Big Green Tractor”, “The Truth” and “Crazy Town”. All the singles peaked in the music charts.
