At the shrine, Nanami meets Onikiri and Kotetsu, who are the keepers of the shrine, and gets to learn about its history. She then goes on to meet Tomoe, who is Mikage’s familiar, and learns that Mikage was actually the Earth deity of the shrine and transferred his powers and responsibilities to Nanami when she saved him from the dog in the park.
