Anime is a medium that allows your imagination to truly sing. ‘Keep Your Hands off Eizouken’ is the perfect example of how, despite having a very simple premise, an anime can do wonders if it has some creative veterans of the industry behind it. Masaaki Yuasa, who is also known for his work in ‘Crayon Shin Chan‘ and ‘Devilman Crybaby‘, has created one hell of an adaptation of Sumito Oowara’s manga series and every anime fan should certainly check it out. Keep your hands off Eizouken Episode 3 Recap
The three young girls of the Eizouken club finally get to work and decide to begin by first fixing up the garage they’ll be working in. Instead of doing what’s actually necessary Midori and Mizusaki get lost in their imagination and design a logo for their club. Sayaka gives them a reality check by informing them that they still need a huge budget to start working on an anime project. Turns out that they had managed to earn a whole lot of money from Midori’s viral video, but she ended up blowing all of that cash on the repair of their roof. Sayaka gets really mad at her for recklessly using all the money and tells both of them that she’ll be managing all of their expenses now.
While she fixes the interiors of the garage, she asks Midori and Mizusaki to fix the roof. Yet again, instead of focusing on what they’re supposed to do, the two girls start imagining that they’re on a space mission and have to fix their broken spacecraft. Soon, they land themselves in trouble and their ladder falls off the roof. Sayaka, who unlike them, always stays grounded to reality, goes and rescues them.
After they’re done fixing the roof, their coordinator tells them all about the presentation that they’ll have to give later to be eligible for a scholarship. Realizing that this could be their shot at getting the necessary budget for their project, they start working on their presentation. They head over to Midori’s place and explore all of her art in her sketchbooks. With this, their imagination runs wild again and they explore all the ways in which they could create an anime character and a whole fantasy world around her. Despite having conflicting notions around it, they establish a common ground and finally give their fantasies a break to get in some real work.
